VaVoom Room Terms & Conditions

 WELCOME! 

The VaVoom Room is owned and operated by Vivienne Starr. Vivienne Starr has over 30 years of Dance & Fitness training and experience, has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry and takes pride in offering the highest calibre of dance fitness in North Queensland. 

LIMITED LIABILITY WAIVER 

Your safety is VaVoom Room’s priority however as with any type of dance fitness class, there can be some risks of accident and/or physical injury associated. You recognise and understand the risks of physical injury inherent to dance and dance training and fully assume those risks. You hereby agree to release and hold harmless VaVoom Room including its teachers, contractors, staff members and affiliates from any cause of action, claims, or demands now and in the future from any injuries sustained or illnesses contracted while attending or participating in any dance fitness classes, rehearsals, workshops or performances.  You further state that there are no health related reasons or problems which preclude or restrict your participation in this activity, and that you will pay any medical costs that may be required as a result of injury to yourself and/or others.

 
PROTECTION OF PROPERTY

We do our best to keep your belongings safe, however, it is your sole responsibility to safeguard your personal property while attending or participating in any classes, courses, workshops, rehearsals or performances. VaVoom Room won’t be held responsible for any loss or damage of your personal property or items.  

SOCIAL MEDIA RELEASE 

VaVoom Room takes a lot of photos & videos!  You authorise the VaVoom Room to use your image and any video recordings taken during classes, courses, workshops, rehearsals and performances for the purpose of advertising, social media, public relations, promotion and record keeping. All photographs and videos remain the property of VaVoom Room. 

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY 

In the event where VaVoom Room cancels a course, class or workshop prior to the commencement date, all deposits/fees will be refunded. 

Due to the popularity of our classes, courses & workshops, each student must pay a deposit to secure a spot. In the event you change your mind, you acknowledge that your deposit will be forfeited. 

In the event a student cancels after attending at least 1 rehearsal, all course fees paid, including deposits are non-refundable. Subject to VaVoom Room discretion, the student may be offered a partial refund or credit to use towards another class, course or workshop at a later date. 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All choreography taught in any VaVoom Room class, course or workshop remains the exclusive property of VaVoom Room and the relevant tutor/s and may not be replicated or performed in full or part outside of any authorised VaVoom Room activities without the express written permission from VaVoom Room. 

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF T&C's

You acknowledge and represent that you have fully informed yourself of the content of this waiver by reading it in its entirety.  You acknowledge that you participate in VaVoom Room classes, courses, workshops, shows and events as your own free act and deed, and no oral representatives, statements, or inducements, apart from the written statement have been made. You further state that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and fully competent to make this agreement, and that you execute this release for full, adequate, and complete consideration fully intending to be bound by the same.
